Trip to Niagara

The flight was scheduled to leave 5.30PM at the San Antonio international airport on a Friday. It was 2PM and still we were unsure of the trip. Our project was in the middle of system testing phase and a couple of issues yet to be solved. After some initial apprehensions we were allowed to leave by our project lead and all of us scrambled to the airport to catch the flight. To our luck there was not much of a rush at the airport and we instantly got on to the plane.

The plane touched down at the New York La Guardia airport at 11.30PM and we went straight to the rental car service.Little did we expect the surprise waiting in store for us.We had booked a six seater Dodge crossover, only that it was not available at the time of our arrival at the premises of the their office. We waited for an hour but no six seater turned up and the only available vehicle was a 12 seater. The only person who knew to drive did not have any experience with big vehicles. After a very hard thought we jumped into the van and he drove the vehicle in the streets of New York.(You should have seen he handled the vehicle as if he was a pro)

It was a 9 hour drive from New York to Buffalo. The drive turned out to be very enjoyable as it was filled a lot scenic places. We had our breakfast in Taco bell so that we do not waste much time. The Journey was tiresome and it passes with songs, chit chat etc. Once we reached Buffalo we checked in to the hotel and got ourselves ready to see the mighty Niagara. But first thing first all of us were damn hungry and we reached the Indian hotel Kohinoor palace. The lunch was wholesome and our taste buds were satiated completely.

All of us were tired and our bodies was sore due to the journey. But when we saw the view of Niagara all of us forgot our pain started enjoying.I have no words to describe the spectacle I saw, so I am attaching a picture which would speak more than thousand words to convey what I felt at that time.
